Houses Of The Holy is the fifth album by English rock band Led Zeppelin, released in 1973. The album is named after a concert venue nicknamed 'Houses of the Holy' by the band's fans. It is Led Zeppelin's first album consisting entirely of original material. The album is considered a milestone in the band's musical direction, featuring multi-layered music that required studio techniques. Rolling Stone ranked it 149th on their list of the 500 greatest albums of all time. The album was recorded in 1972 at Mick Jagger's Stargroves estate and in the band members' own home studios.
Depeche Mode's 15th album, 'Memento Mori,' is a reminder that death comes for us all. The pandemic-influenced album explores the philosophical concept of the finiteness of human existence, with the shadow of death looming over every track. The album features industrial arrangements and references to the band's earlier works, as well as newer influences from producers James Ford, Richard Butler, and Marta Salogni. Despite the album's dark themes, Depeche Mode's music remains immortal.
